Saturday, February 25th-12 Learwood 8th Grade Instrumental Students (12 Band, Orchestra) will be performing in the Ohio Music Education Association District IV Honors Festival. The Honors Festival Concert will be held at the Lakewood Civic Auditorium. The concert starts at 4 PM and is free. Donations are greatly appreciated at the doors. The 2012 OMEA Dist. IV Middle School Honors Band guest conductor is Dr. Gary Ciepluch, Director of Bands/Director of Music Education at Case Western Reserve University, conductor of the University Circle Wind Ensemble, and founder/conductor of the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony. The guest conductor of the 2012 OMEA Dist. IV Middle School Honors Orchestra is Dr. Elaine Colprit, Chair of Music Education at Bowling Green State University.
