Too Hot To Handle? Let's Remember Avon Lake's Winter 2010-11

Feeling the heat? Here's a flashback to what we're not missing June 8.

It's 98 degrees out and you don't have air conditioning. Sure you can head over to Avon Lake's top-of-the-line aquatic center.

Or you can take a moment and scroll through our heat-wave slide show of photos from , and March when we . Snowstorms. Ice storms. An inexplicable that melted the tons of snow and cause flooding. Let us not forget people, and recap some of the comments we said:

  • "I'll take the summer heat over this bitter cold any day."
  • "I'm sick of the snow."
  • "Can someone come over, my car is stuck in the snow."
  • "Another ice storm and the power's out again."
  • "Did you hear he broke his wrist slipping on the ice?"
  • "It's 8 degree out. No way in hell I'm leaving the house."

Sure, it's hot as hell out now, but remember what we all called one of the worst winters ever. Chill out and enjoy the slide show.
