Join a naturalist in search of wildflowers throughout the Kopf Family reservation on Saturday, May 14 from 10 a.m. – noon. Departure is from

 Preschool Nature Kids: Spring Wildflowers

The Lorain County Metro Parks Kopf Family Reservation invites preschoolers, age 3 and up with an adult companion, to join them at the Library on Friday, May 18 at 10 a.m. to learn about spring wildflowers through stories, crafts and games. Preregister by May 17 by contacting the Park District Office at 440-458-5121. Snacks are provided.

Library Closed

Avon Lake Public Library will be closed to the public on Friday, May 18 due to a technology system migration.  Scheduled kindergarten screening appointments for May 18 will still take place at the Library.

Growing Your Business 2012 Workshops

Business Planning – Thursday, May 17, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Join this growing group of small business owners as they network and learn ways to improve their businesses.  These informative workshops are part of Avon Lake Public Library’s Small Business Resource Connection, whose purpose is to aid in the economic development of small businesses in the community.
