The 9-year-old Westview student was critically injured Nov. 6 in a collision with a car. He has been upgraded to stable condition, but remains in the Pediatric Intesive Care Unit (PICU) with severe head trauma.
The account has been set up by Noah’s aunt, Christine Venesile.
“We don’t what’s ahead for Noah, if there’s going to be a need to changes to the house. We’re preparing for anything and everything,” Christine said.
A link set up on PayItSquare.com, for Support for Noah Venesile's Journey makes it easy for supporters to donate online.
A posting on the site said the goal is to reach $10,000. They had reached 11 percent of the goal by Friday afternoon, Nov. 16.
A Facebook page dedicated to keeping the community updated on Noah’s progress has details.
Noah was upgraded to stable condition this week and doctors began reducing medication to bring him out of an induced coma. His aunt said his progress is on track.
“It’s slow moving for him to come out of the coma; the doctors are saying everything is normal and it could be the effects of the medication," Christine said.
"Noah has a long road ahead of him," a Facbook posting by his parents, said. "Noah has had an amazing outpouring of love, prayers and support from his family, friends, neighbors, community and complete strangers. We are extremely thankful for all of you! The Venesile Family”
