Avon Moves Trick or Treat to Sunday, Nov. 4
Avon Lake moved date already, safety concerns force move.
Similar to Avon Lake, Avon will move Halloween trick or treating to Sunday, Nov. 4 from 5 - 6:30 p.m., Avon's mayor's office confirmed today.
The city of Avon Lake changed trick or treat yesterday to the same day and time.
The mayors' offices both cited the safety of trick or treaters in the wake of the remnants of Hurricane Sandy .
