Easter's only a few days away, but there are still events lined up for the weekend. Here's a few. Are we missing an event or service? Add it in the comments and make sure it's in our events. Postings are free.

Easter Events

Avon / Avon Lake VFW Post 7035 Easter Breakfast

Easter breakfast is Saturday, March 30 at the VFW Post 7035 in Avon. Breakfast is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under.  Breakfast will consist of  scrambled eggs, pancakes, French toast sticks, bacon and sausage. The VFW is located at 36950 Mills Road in Avon. Reservations are not required.

Avon / Avon Lake VFW Post 7035 Community Easter Egg Hunt -  On Saturday, March 30, children aged 0-10 can hunt for more than 1,400 real eggs at the . Rain, shine or snow (boo). Treats for All Prize Eggs, Bring your basket and  wear your boots !.Pictures with the Easter Bunny are available.  This free event is being held at the VFW OH Post 7035, 36950 Mills Rd, in Avon.

 Advent Episcopal Easter Egg hunt - Advent Episcopal Church, 3760 Dover Center Road in Westlake, will hold an Easter Egg Hunt for children 0-12 at 9 a.m. on Easter Sunday, March 31. Bring your own basket! For more information, call 440-360-7485.

Easter Sunday Brunch At Vintage House Cafe       

Sunday, March 31 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Celebrate Easter at the Vintage House Café. Reservations now being accepted for Easter Brunch. Please note that this is a reservation only brunch. The Vintage House Cafe is located at 35800 Detroit Rd, Avon. Cost is $19.99, click brunch link for details.

Hope Christian Church Good Friday Service is March 29 at 7 p.m. Hope Christian Church is located at 26265 Detroit Rd. in Avon.

St. Joseph Church Holy Week services:

Good Friday - No Mass today. The Passion of the Lord noon; Confessions following Passion until 3 p.m.; Living Stations 7 p.m. Holy

Saturday - Confessions 11am-12 Noon; Blessing of Food 2pm; Easter Vigil Mass (We welcome our RCIA candidates into the Catholic faith) at 9 p.m. There is NO 4:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday.

Easter Sunday - Masses at 8:30 a.m. & 11 a.m. There is NO 5 p.m. Mass

Looking for an Easter service?  There will be two services on Easter Sunday, one at 8:30 a.m. and one at 10 a.m. at United Methodist Church. The United Methodist Men will be preparing a wonderful breakfast. The church is located at 37711 Detroit Rd, Avon.
