Flood Warning Issued Through Early Thursday Morning

You might want to place basement items up a little bit higher this evening.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning in Lorain County until 5:43 a.m. on Jan. 19. The Service is also advising of potential flooding of the Black River in Elyria and "strong, gusting winds" in the county.

With the wind comes the risk of power outages. Keep an eye on what's going on with FirstEnergy's power outage map.
