The forecast is for low pressure to move northeast along a near-stationary front Monday. Rainfall could exceed one inch in spots, which the already saturated ground cannot absorb. It's expected to runoff immediately into rivers, streams and storm drains, causing localized flooding.

The heavier rain is expected to move northeast out of the area during the overnight Monday into Tuesday.
