Show Us Your Heroes for Veterans Day

Did you or a loved one serve our country?

Avon Lake Patch wants photos your photos to honor veterans, young and old. It's well known that Avon Lake has plenty of veterans, and we want to honor them on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. 

We're looking for photos, recent or vintage, to share with others. Have an old black and white of you in uniform or your favorite veteran? Do you have a color photo of recently returned vet? Upload your photos and honor our vets.

Whether you are an Iraq War or WWI vet, Patch wants to see your photos and videos, as well as hear your story. Is there a photo showing you serving the veteran community? We want to see that too.

It's easy on Patch: Simply upload your photos clicking the “Submit Your Photos” button above the main image and we will feature it on Veterans Day. Make sure to add a caption telling us about veteran and tell us that service member's story. You can also embed a YouTube video by pasting a link.
