This year we are celebrating the 100th birthday of Girl Scouts, to mark this milestone anyone who purchases (or donates*) six or more boxes of cookies from a cookie booth (from Feb. 17 thru March 4) will be able to have their name entered in a drawing to receive cookies for a year (100 packages), there will be ten winners in North East Ohio.
Girl Scout Troop 50171 (Avon Lake) will have booths at the following times and locations:
- 02/18/12 9:30am 12:00pm First Merit Bank 520 Avon Belden Road Avon Lake
- 02/24/12 6:00pm 8:00pm Walgreen's 32798 Walker Road Avon Lake
- 03/03/12 3:00pm 6:00pm Giant Eagle 31990 Walker Road Avon Lake
New to the troop this year will be the ability to accept Visa, Master Card and Discover payments for any purchases and/or donations* of two or more boxes.
*All donated boxes go to Operation Sweet Appreciation. This organization delivers all the donated cookies to our Military Troops.
