Sunday's Annual Toy Run Starts at Lake Erie Harley

New toys to help Fairview Hospital build library for children

There’s still time to sign up for the on Sunday, and you can register in person at the on Chester Road in Avon.

The event features a 15-mile ride from the Lake Erie Harley-Davidson to the Fairview Hospital and drivers will bring new toys and donations to the Fairview Hospital pediatric inpatient unit.

Registration runs from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the ride promptly begins at 1 p.m.

Music act will perform live and the event will feature raffles and food.

The cost of the run for an individual is one toy or $20 and for a couple, two toys or $35.

Organizers stress that only new toys can be given to the children and suggest bringing DVDs, books and crafts to help build a library for the children.

There’s no rain date for the run, and riders of all makes and models are welcome.
