Craig Steiner, 23, attended Avon Lake High School

Survived by fiance, young daughter, parents and siblings.

Craig Paul Steiner, 23 of Lakewood, formerly of Avon Lake, passed away suddenly at home, Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012. Craig was born April 11, 1989 in Cleveland and attended Avon Lake High School.

Craig enjoyed travel and had as a goal to visit every one of the 50 States, he also enjoyed playing video games. He was an animal lover having a unique bond with his dog Bailey.

Craig was family oriented, he had a special place in his heart for his late grandmother Joanne Bacha, but it was his fiancé Jacki and daughter Sophia Mari that were the lights of his life. Caring for Sophia, hanging out her with and teaching her something new every day truly brought joy to his life.

Besides his daughter Sophia Mari and fiancé Jacqueline N. Kessler of Lakewood, Craig is survived by his parents Blair W. and Kelly (nee Bacha) Steiner, sister Katherine A. Dunn (Nathan) of Avon Lake and brothers Blair A. of Avon Lake and Michael K. "Mickey" of Kent.

He is also survived by uncles and aunts Dennis Bacha (Ruthie), Paul Bacha (Donna), Michael Bacha (Patsy) and Elizabeth Stone (Donald).

Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home 163 Avon-Belden Rd., Avon Lake, on Tuesday, Nov. 27 from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. The funeral service will be Wednesday at the funeral home at 10 a.m. 

Busch Certified Celebrant Barbara Habecker will officiate. Interment will following in Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.
