Dolores M. Tomko (nee Novak), 84 of Avon Lake passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic.

She was born in Cleveland on July 1, 1928.  She graduated from Ohio Northern University and worked as a pharmacist at St. Vincent Charity Hospital. She was a member of St. Brendan Church, St. Raphael Church, and St. Joseph Church. Her late husband, Edward P. Tomko, was president and owner of ., and she was a true "dealers wife" during her lifetime.

Mr. Tomko is survived by her children, Paul (Sally) of Avon Lake , Renee Tomko-Rose of Avon Lake, David (Elizabeth) of Avon, and Greg (Kimberly) of Westlake; grandchildren Kaitlin, Brianna, Kathryn, and Matthew; and her brother Joseph Eugene Novak.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward P. and her parents Joseph and Florence (nee Cetkowski) Novak.

Friends may call at the , 163 Avon Belden Road, Avon Lake from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, 10205 Lorain Ave., Cleveland on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Father James R. McGonegal presiding. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Avon. Memorial contributions may be forwarded to American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106.
