Esther H. Krebs, 87, of Avon Lake: Obituary

Esther H. Krebs (nee Rue), age 87 of Avon Lake, passed away at Lakewood Hospital on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from a sudden illness. 

She was born on February 13, 1926 in Sheffield. 

Esther graduated from Brookside High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Avon Lake and a member of the Isabella Guild of Fr. Ragan Council in Avon. She loved to bowl, play cards, and travel.

Her survivors include her children, Diane Deasy (Thomas) of Avon Lake, Terry Krebs (Barbara) of Avon Lake, and Susan Rieth (Ronald) of Las Cruces, NM; grandchildren, Wendra, Jeffrey, Christopher, Angela, Thomas, Selene, Nicole, Denise, Colleen, and Keith; and ten great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald F. (1992), parents, Robert E. and Anna Rue (nee Lower), and sister Laurabelle Bartinski.

Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon-Belden Road, Avon Lake on Thursday, June 13 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Prayer service at the funeral home at 9:15am, Friday June 14 with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10am at St. Joseph Church, 32929 Lake Road, Avon Lake. Fr. James Becherer will officiate.
