Lloyd F. Loux Jr. of Avon Lake: Obituary

Master bridge player

Lloyd F. Loux Jr. of Avon Lake passed away on May 16, 2013. He was born on April 4, 1929.

He was a preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Patricia (nee Lawson).

He is survived by son Allan (Catherine), Granddaughter Sarah and son Stephen (Deborah), grandson Barret and granddaughter Kelsey and loving partner of Marilyn Psiakis.

Lloyd was a graduate of Case Western Reserve Law School and worked at National City Bank for 35 years, finishing as Senior Vice President in the legal department.He was a consultant at Baker Hostetler law firm for 10 years.

His passion beyond his family was bridge achieving Diamond Life Master with more than 5,000 master points.

The family would like to thank Lloyd's long term care givers Bilal Abdul-Mani, Tierra Prince and Sannina Woodson. Their compassionate care over the last many months is greatly appreciated.

Family and friends will be received from 4-8 pm on Sunday, May 19 at Jenkins Funeral Chapel, 2914 Dover Center Road, Westlake. A funeral service will be held on Monday at Jenkins Funeral Chapel at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lake Erie Nature and Science Center, 28728 Wolf Rd., Bay Village, OH 44140
