Rosemarie A. Ingoglia, 68, Mother of Four

Rosemarie A. (Rienzo) Ingoglia, 68, of Avon, passed away Feb. 14 at home.

Ingoglia was born May 29, 1943, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to  John and Louise (Carfora) Rienzo. She was raised in Glendale, N.Y., and graduated from Our Lady of Wisdom Academy in Ozone Park. After high school, she earned her nursing degree from St. Vincent Hospital Nursing School in New York City.

She worked in the compensation management field.

Ingoglia was a member of Holy Spirit Parish in Avon Lake. She enjoyed playing golf, dancing, traveling and visiting with family.

In addition to her parents, who live in Valley Stream, N.Y., she is survived by Augie Ingoglia, her husband of 48 years. Also surviving are three children, Joseph (Zagorka) of Munster, Ind.; Michelle Charles (Robert) of Cumming, Ga.; and Marc (Amy) of Lake Hopatcong, N.J.; grandchildren Alex, Niko, Jake, Gabie, Kristen, Heather, Michael, Olivia, Ashley, and Lexi; sister Joan (Robert) Fusco and niece Robin Fusco both of Malverne, N.Y. A son, John, died in infancy.

Calling hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at Busch Funeral Home. Following a 9:15 a.m. prayer service at the funeral home, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish. Interment will be private at St. John Cemetery in Queens, N.Y.
