Walter Veiock, Enjoyed Woodworking, Served in the Army

Visitation, services are Thursday and Friday.

Walter Veiock, 83,a 30-year resident of Avon passed away on July 23, 2013 at EMH Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

Walter served in the United States Army during the Korean War and worked for 22 years at Fruehauf before retiring from Shelby Paper as a Group Leader. He enjoyed woodworking and made decorations for every holiday. 

Mr. Veiock is survived by his son Walter E. Veiock, Jr. of Sheffield Lake and daughter Linda Smith (Dennis) of Amherst Township; grandchildren Kimberly, Jennifer, and Adam; five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Wilma (February 2013) and his parents. 

Visitation is 3 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Thursday, July 25 at Busch Funeral Home, 32000 Detroit Road, Avon. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. To leave an online condolence, go to www.buschcares.com 440-937-6175
