Courts: Big Fines Issued for Drunk Driving, Telephone Harassment

Ross Bragg, Miriam Drive, Avon fined $375, 30 days jail (26 suspended) and license suspended for six months for OVI; $250 fine and license suspended for three months for driving under suspension.

Laura Decesare, W. 210th, Fairview park fined $500 (suspended with no contact for a year) for telephone harassment.

Shawn Duffin, Joseph Avenue, Avon fined $150 for disorderly conduct.

Cara Duncan, Moore Road, Avon Lake 30 days jail (suspended) for persisting in disorderly conduct.

Kyle Kadow, Inwood Boulevard, Avon Lake bound over to Lorain County Court of Common Pleas for action by the grand jury on charges of trafficking in heroin.

Courtney Lang, Musket Drive, Mentor fined $150, 30 days jail (suspended) for petty theft.

Colin McCann, Parkside Drive, Avon Lake bound over to Lorain County Court of Common Pleas for action by the grand jury on charges of complicity and carrying a concealed weapon. 

James McCarthy, Cypress East, Avon fined $30 for seat belt violation.

Rebecca Medlen, Hawthorne Drive, Avon fined $500, five days jail (suspended) for attempted theft.

Cody Melster, Russell Road, Bay Village fined $250, 90 days jail (suspended) for telephone harassment. Cell phone will be held by the court until May 12, 2011.
