Break in, guns missing

A Forest Boulevard resident returned home Aug. 25 to find the house had been broken into. Money and two guns were missing. The resident believed the person responsible might be armed and in the attic. Avon’s K-9 unit was called in but no suspects were located.

Lipstick on pigs, not cars

A resident called police reporting that his car had been marked with lipstick while eating at restaurant. With the exception of a girlied up vehicle, the car did not sustain any damage.

Break in

A Crestwood Drive reported his house had been broken into on Aug. 29.

Neither a borrower or a lender be

A resident notified police that some juveniles were at her door demanding her daughter give them back shoes she had borrowed and were yelling at her.

Woman thinks bird might have West Nile

A Brennans Court woman called police on Sept. 1 saying a bird in her yard might be a victim of West Nile Virus. Police reports indicate the bird flew away.

Why you weren’t invited

A resident called to complain that three juvenile females threw construction cones in her front yard after they were not allowed into a sleepover at the house. The girls were told to put the items back where they found them.
