Police Blotter: Skateboarding in Skivvies?

The following arrest information was supplied by the Avon police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Someone called Avon police just before 6 p.m on May 31, claiming kids were at the Skate Park skateboarding in their underwear. Police checked it out and found everyone had either shorts or pants on.

Go Out and Smash It

Some teens in a Pontiac LeMans were seen throwing something at a road sign on Long Road as they were heading towards Stoney Ridge around 3:45 p.m. on June 1.

Not Cool

A patron at the French Creek YMCA got a talking-to from police after leaving his dog in his car with the windows rolled up the evening of May 31. Temperatures were in the high 80s that day. The man was not charged.

Burglary

An elderly woman’s home in the 1400 block of Mulberry Lane was broken into sometime between May 30 and June 1, the woman’s daughter reported to police. The investigation is continuing. Police did not disclose what was taken.
