Pipe Bursting Begins on Dellwood

Construction continues on the Bellaire-Inwood-Dellwood project

The following updates have been provided by Avon Lake Municipal Utilities.

Belmar temporary line testing and changeover begins this week

Crews will be completing bacteria tests on Monday and Tuesday and changing residents over to the temporary line on Thursday and Friday of this week. Mobilization to begin replacing the Belmar Boulevard water main from Canterbury north to Electric Boulevard will begin the week of Sept. 19.

Affected residents will be notified 48 hours ahead of schedule where and when crews will be working. Local access and school bus traffic will be maintained. All motorists are advised to drive with caution and not to park on tree lawns within work areas.

Any concerns relating to water line construction should be directed to at 440-933-6226 on workdays and 440-933-3229 on weekends and holidays.

Pipe bursting begins on Dellwood

 Utilicon Corp. crews completed the first pipe bursting run on Dellwood last week, in spite of heavy rain. Another pipe bursting run and home lateral connections are scheduled to start Monday between Canterbury and Durrell. Site restoration continues on both Bellaire and Inwood Boulevard.

Residents will be notified 48 hours ahead of work schedules and asked to reduce water usage while work crews reconnect home laterals. Local access and school bus traffic will be maintained. Do not park on tree lawns within work areas.

Directs concerns relating to construction damages to Avon Lake Municipal Utilities at 440-933-6226 on workdays or 440-933-3229 on weekends and holidays. Road repair damages should be directed to the City Engineering Department at 440-930-6141
