Sunday Hours Returning to Avon Lake Library

Library Open Sundays Beginning Jan. 8

Thanks to the community’s support of the Library’s levy in May, the Library is restoring Sunday hours, beginning January 8, 2012.  As in the past, there will be no Sunday hours during the summer months.

Manga Mania Cosplay

Students ages 11-16 are invited to Manga Mania’s first “cosplay” on Tuesday, Dec. 13 from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.  A cosplay is dressing up and roll playing as your favorite fictional anime character.  Bring your costume and join in the fun.

Environmental Series – Funding Big Projects

Projects like sewers, streets and bike paths are the most costly infrastructures to design, install and maintain and can strain a city’s budget.  Join a panel discussion on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. to discuss options for municipalities to fund infrastructure sustainability.
