The gym was packed for the annual Heritage Hoopla basketball game between staff of and elementary schools.
Heritage North won, 44-42, in spite of Heritage South bringing in quite an impressive ringer. Avon Lake resident Calvin Booth, a 6-11 former NBA player, suited up for Heritage South.
Former Cavaliers star Elmore Smith signed autographs in the lobby.
Heritage Hoopla is a fundraiser for Heritage Boosters, which provides support for both schools.
