Two Avon Students Receive Full College Scholarships

Nick Mast and Madeline DiFilippo to attend top universities as Stamps Scholars.

Madeline DiFilippo and Nick Mast were both chosen to receive full schloarships from the Stamps Scholar Program. Each year, 170 students are selected from a pool of 500,000 applicants to receive a four-year scholarship, including funds for enrichments.  

According to the Stamps press release, DiFilippo and Mast were  selected for her leadership, scholarship, perseverance, service and innovation. 

DiFilippo graduated from Avon High School and will attend Miami University. She is the daughter of Fred and Marla DiFilippo. DiFilippo's scholarship is valued at approximately $140,000.

Mast graduated from St. Ignatius and will attend the University of Southern California. His scholarship is valued at approximately $180,000.
