Clayton Bishop Rejoins Denison University Football Team

St. Ignatius grad is a wide receiver.

Avon Lake resident Clayton Bishop is again a member of the Denison University football team. Bishop, a graduate of St. Ignatius High School, is a member of the Denison's Class of 2016.

The 5' 11, 185 pound wide receiver played in one game as a freshman for the Big Red football team. He has seen action is all four games this year. 

The Denison football season is off to a 3-1 start after opening the season with victories over Earlham College and Hiram College. The Big Red bested Ohio Wesleyan this Saturday, 47-41.

Bishop, the son of Mark and Donna Bishop, is majoring in physics. He is a student assistant in the Denison sports information office and a broadcaster with the Denison Sports Network.

Denison is a member of NCAA Division III and the North Coast Athletic Conference.
