Crushers Season Coming Down to the Wire

The Lake Erie Crushers (47-42) begin a three-game series tonight against the Washington Wild Things at . The first pitch is at 7:05 p.m.

The Wild Things (39-50) are out of playoff contention, and will work to defeat the Crushers who trail the Traverse City Beach Bums by only a half game for the last postseason slot of the Frontier League's Eastern DIvision.

Winning over the next few days will be crucial, but their playoff hopes will most likely rest on the outcome of the last three games of the season when they play the Beach Bums (48-42) away over the upcoming weekend.
