Eagle Run Accepting Registrations For May 26 Race

Annual race to benefit Avon Schools Educational Endowment Fund

The Kaiser Permanente 12th Annual Eagle Run is accepting registrations for the May 26 race at Avon High School and benefits the Avon Schools Educational Endowment Fund and local area charities.

Pre-registration costs are $20 for the 5-mile run and the 5K walk/run and include a hat, ticket and T-shirt. The 1-mile kids fun run (ages 13 and under) is $10 and includes a ticket and T-shirt.

On-line registration ends May 23 at 10 a.m. and all mailed entries must be received by May 23. To register on-line, go to http://www.avoneaglerun.org. Mailed entries are accepted at Hermes Sports & Events, 1624 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44114.

Early packet pick up is scheduled for May 24 from 4-7 p.m. at the French Creek YMCA.

Late and race-day registration costs are $25 for the 5-mile and 5K runs and $15 for the 1-mile kids fun run.

On race day, registration begins at 7:15 a.m. The two main races begin at 8:30 a.m. and the kids fun run starts at 10 a.m.
