The event has grown in attendance each year and brings together adults and children from the community in a competitive, yet spectator-oriented, event. Everyone is encouraged to participate by either running the five miles, enjoying a three-mile run or walk or being a spectator. In addition, after the adult runs/walk, there is a one-mile fun run for children.

The first 750 adult entries will receive a T-shirt and hat. Children also will receive a T-shirt. Plus, every entry gets a free Lake Erie Crushers ticket voucher good for one Home Box ticket during the Opening Homestand May 28 through June 2 (excluding Opening Day and June 1).

Same-day registration begins at 7:15 a.m. at the stadium with a $25 fee.
