Snapshot: Thursday Night Lights
The Avon vs. Avon Lake football game sported plenty of pageantry, but not the ending Avon Lake was hoping fort.
It was Thursday Night Lights at Avon Stadium as the kicked off the 2011 football season infront of a nationally televised audience. While the game was not what Avon Lake fans had hoped, a 38-7 loss to the cross-town rivals Avon, the ambiance and pagantry was of a playoff atmosphere.
Here, the Avon Lake marching band puts on a great halftime show that generated applause from both sidelines.
