Update: Shoremen Basketball Canceled; Rescheduled for Feb. 26
JV, Varsity games will play tomorrow, Feb. 26
Tonight's 7:30 p.m. basketball game between undefeated Shoremen and Brecksville-Broadview Heights at has been canceled, according to Superintendent of Schools Bob Scott.
Scott and the Brecksville superintendent made a decision at noon.
"Our school snow crews and the City of Avon Lake have done a great job with streets, parking areas and schools walkways," Scott said. "Unfortunately the trip from Brecksville to Avon Lake was too iffy to take a chance with a bus and Brecksville fans."

The game has been rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 26. The JV team will tip off at 1 p.m., followed by the varsity team at 2:30 p.m.
