End of Summer Bash At Ellen Trivanovich Pool Friday
Get in one last summer lick before school starts.
Not ready to head back to school yet? Avon Lake residents can enjoy a last blast this weekend, starting with the Back to School Bash at the in Friday night.
The bash will double as a Food Drive Aug. 17 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department, the family-friendly party will feature Zone Entertainment’s DJ services, which will feature music, games and contests.
Admission is one non-perishable food item or a monetary donation to CRS. Suggestions include canned fruit, canned meats, Spaghettios, ravioli, peanut butter, jelly, chili, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti sauce, boxed side dish/helpers, and hearty soups. (Please no glass containers.)

The first 100 guests through the gates will get free giveaways.
The concession stand will be open and guests can purchase hot dogs, pizza, candy, ice cream and beverages for a small fee.

Water noodles, beach balls and coast guard approved life jackets will be allowed in the pool for this event.
