Key Club Inducts New Officers

Club counts more than 90 high school students.

The Avon Lake Key Club, arm of the Kiwanis Club, swore in its new officers last week at the March 15 meeting.

Outgoing officers President Molly Clarahan, Vice President Julia Sant and Secretary Maddie Furrer will be graduating this year and passed the torch to the new officers, whose terms take effect next month. Bulletin Editor Alyssa Wagner and Treasurer Sam Shalov were re-elected to their positions.

The Key Club’s new officers are Tyler Jasensky, President; Emily Peterson, Vice President; Rachel McCann, Secretary; and Molly Holleran, Class Officer. Also present at the ceremony, in addition to the officers’ families, were Jacob Shalov, ALHS graduate 2011 and past key club Treasure and Mitch Keene, the lieutenant governor - Division 13, Ohio District Key Club.
